Infineon Raceway, California

Today was our second track visit on the tour, the first being Willow Springs. I know we could have included more track time, but I think the feeling was to reduce the risk and save the tires for the miles ahead.

We did not have a full track day, but a 'parade' session behind pace cars. We were out for 20 minutes or so. Our group moved along as fast as I wanted it to, then we caught up to the next group and slowed down a bit. Infineon is a very nice track, lots of elevation change, fast bits, slow bits, all good :)

At the end we set up the cars for a group photo, with the track in the background. We had a photographer taking the final photo, and he will deliver CDs to us tomorrow night at the group dinner.

I'll try to go back and post pictures from the last few days. We stopped for a bit in Morro Bay, and I felt the urge to jump into the Pacific in my underwear. I'll tell you what, it was cccccoooold! Then I had to stand on the beach to air dry, otherwise my clothes would have been soaked too.
